Summary:

Need to know the expiration date on your Más+ bottle? Here’s how to find and read the batch code.

Main Content:

Every Más+ bottle/can has a batch code that helps you identify its production date.
You can use this code to determine how fresh your product is and when it’s best enjoyed.

Where to Find the Batch Code:

  • For bottles: The batch code is located on the bottom of the label near the barcode.

  • For cans: The batch code can be found on the bottom of the can.

How to Read the Batch Code:

Our batch codes follow this format: A0120XXFL

  • Letter (A-M) = Month of production (A = January, B = February, C = March, etc. skipping I)

  • Two digits (01-31) = Day of the month

  • Last two digits (20, 21, 22) = Year of production

  • XX:XX XX = Internal time and production codes (not related to expiration)

Example:

If your batch code reads "A0120XXFL", this means:

  • A = January

  • 01 = 1st day of the month

  • 20 = 2020

So the product was produced on January 1, 2020, and the best-by date is one year from the production date.

How to Calculate the Expiration Date:

  • Más+ products are best enjoyed within 12 months of the production date.

  • Simply add one year to the production date shown in the batch code.

  • In the example above (January 1, 2020), the best-by date would be January 1, 2021.
